CAROLINE RICCA LEE (b. 1990) is a Sino-Japanese Brazillian transdisciplinary artist and researcher, born and based in São Paulo, Brazil. Their work is driven by speculative fiction of memory, identity, and ancestry. Through a
 transdisciplinary practice, fields such as sculpture, performance, multimedia installations, speculative design, and writing, are entangled to create a testing ground to collide fiction and reality; dream and trauma; love and chaos; in this bargain between the historical and the mythical, the artists create territories, entities, and narratives that aim to represent a complex, dynamic, and shapeshifting kind of experience. Develops an intersectional praxis between art, critical writing and decolonial studies, thereby their main areas of study are Asian identities from Latin America, Decolonial Feminism, and Subversion of Gender.
